Shell all the way. gets me the best power and WAY better fuel economy than anything else. my second choice is BP but still doesn't compare to shell.

Arco is cheapest, which is bp as mentioned above.
Also the quietest when it comes to crickets. |

Shell is proven to have better gas than BP, Sunoco, and Speedway here in Ohio so when I have the option that's usually what I go with.

For my Evo, I've used Shell at least 95% of the time, with Chevron pretty much accounting for the rest. I used Sam's Club fuel once, just to see if I noticed any differences.

I fuel up at Cheveron most of the time. If not Shell! Not too many great gas stations around where i live in California.

I always go to Repsol stations.
Off topic: Is 93 the highest octanage available in the USA? Is there any (relatively easy) way to get 98 octane gasoline in the USA?

I use either Petro Canada (formerly Sunoco) Ultra 94 or Shell 91. In my area Shell premium has no ethanol...this may not be the case in all areas. The PC 94 has "up to" 10% ethanol. The car seems to run a little better on the 94, but I get better mileage and no crickets with the ethanol free 91. Tough choice.

You should check out the site:
http://www.toptiergas.com/ BTW: I wouldn't give any credibility to claims of one brand giving higher MPG. If some additive actually does give higher mpg, its likely to be a tiny one. |

I could totally tell petro 94 gave wayless mpg then Shell or esso but provided a tiny power advantage over the 91 from them. But i get crickets from petro 94, so i stick with shell if i can, which is a tiny bit better then esso.

Not really, though admittedly that tank of Sam's Club premium (assuming that is the one you're asking about) is the only one I've gotten from them so far, plus I just drove normally without really pushing the car much. I think I boosted once or twice, but it didn't seem to accelerate any differently.
