2013+ GS is like the complete polar opposite of the previous gen GS. A lot of comparisons have been made to the previous gen 5 series (cuz the new one apparently is more soft than before). With that said a lot of the comparisons with the current 5 series states the 2013 GS actually is the better drivers car.

It gives you proper feedback and feel.. It's doesn't dull things down so you feel cozy and shit.. It's lightweight nimble and dare I say quick.. Not the fastest machine on the road.. But more than adequate for real world driving experience.
The car is balanced in handling and power.. A complete visceral driving experience you can do on a daily basis .. All in a great looking package and priced very reasonably..

It's ok not to like the car... But when you compare it to other cars built with a different purpose and overlook what the car is all about... You're just making useless noise..

Agreed
I drive a 458 italia when I'm not in the states , and I can assure you that in no way does the 86 lack a sports car performance, yes it might want more Hp, but it's still great as the way it stands

yeah i was stating that people resorted to more expensive cars until the frs/brz came out to get the feeling they wanted from a car, for the ones who made the switch, some/most of them like the brz/frs better than their previous ride regardless of the lack of power... and there are plenty of ways to add power to this car anywhere from 7whp to 500whp... and with the money you spent on a 911 gt2 you can make an FRS just as powerful with a build engine with reliability and upgrades to the suspension to make it handle and preform as the 911 but at 1/2 the cost. what do you do with the other half? extra engines, extra transmissions, tires... lots of tires...

Absolutely

Even though I ended up not getting a BRZ, I still think it's one of the best things to happen to the auto industry in a long time. To have this type of car come out at this kind of affordable pricing is a wonderful thing - 5 years ago, I would never have expected a fun, light, amazing-handling rear drive car to be available for this kind of price.
