To me the frs font looks sportier and the brz more down to business. If that's possible.

It definitely does. At first, I too was baffled by this. I was all like, "wtf, where's the god-dang white background that makes the FR-S tach unique?". At night, you can't tell at all. It just looks black. You can take a gander on all the 0-60 vids of the FR-S taken during night

I like the all red Subaru one because I'm used to the gauge cluster on my 06 STi. Too bad the red backlight doesn't stay on even when the lights are off like STi one does.

I've always been a fan of amber interior lights, so it's not a surprise as to which one I voted for.

I prefer the BRZ. I come from a BMW, so amber gauges are the norm. It's much easier on the eyes at night, and if you're worried about not being able to see redline, in person, it's very easy to see where redline is.

I own a BRZ but I do wish that the dash lights were white like the FRS rather then red.
However I that is the only part of the FRS I like better.

I prefer everything about the BRZ cluster-- the font, the simple face design, and the night-vision-compatible backlighting. Now if only I could rotate the tach so redline was at 12 o'clock...
It's ok though, because we have the upshift light

The FRS/GT86 dials do look more sporty, but the BRZ's is easier on the eyes. I would like the BRZ's more if they were white faced though.
