Yeah but if you buy a new one you get 7 years free service and oem parts. Moral, don't buy a used Ferrari. That said, engine rebuilds on them are cheap!

I came from a 450 hp supra and my brz is at about 380 hp now and its way more scary & fun!

Mildly tuned Audi S2, around 350hp.

This is so much better in so many ways. The S2 was a heavy beast, but I enjoyed the surefootedness of old-school quattro. Having said that, the joys of donuts and powerslides outweight the qattro by far. Also, on a tight mountain road the S2 didn't feel fun, it was too heavy. The S2 is a highway queen.

92 civic hatch. boosted b20 vtec tuned at 390 whp. I miss the the tire melting straight line acceleration but the fr-s is so much more fun to drive in every other way.

Im about to go from my 2008 Evo X - at about 350-370 whp to a BRZ (Just waiting on finance and one to ship to new zealand!)

i just have to resist modding it as the evo i went a bit crazy with heaps of bolt ons

though i doubt it will last with the BRZ

I gotta say, there's something fun about having to downshift to get any power.

I went from a 2010 Shelby GT500 with 611WHP. The Shelby didn't like be a commuter...she was always trying to stretch her legs. Definitely a shock in power, but the FRS keeps me out of "take out a second mortgage" type tickets. Just the amount of money I save on gas puts a smile on my face.

More people who had 400 or more HP than people who had fewer than 150hp. That's pretty insane. Many more people had more powerful cars then took the twins, myself included. Course I'm thinking of mods, but I'm also thinking of narrower tires.

I'm used to declining power when replacing cars... Went from a 300HP 2006 Mustang GT to my current BMW which only has 225hp... and well dropping to 200 once I get my FR-S... will be keeping the bimmer as a project car though

Not nearly as drastic as many people on here. Went from 274hp and 275ft lbs of torque in a 2013 Genesis Coupe to a BRZ Limited.

I had not intention of doing so. I owned the Gencoupe for about 14 months and was killing a few hours before picking up my son at a birthday party and decided to give the BRZ a look since the dealer was down the street from the party...

No intention of buying it.. Just fell in love with the car after the test drive, and I am normally someone who keeps cars 4-6 years normally.

I have zero regrets...
