Some of you guys are extremely rude and I would never come onto your threads and bash your hard work especially if you were new to the club.

Hey Josh, I'm sorry for laughing at your mods and it's a shame how you've been treated as a brand new member. Looking at some of those pictures, I myself couldn't tell if you were serious or just messing with us.

I'm going to have to agree with some of the others and say that you should have combined all your posts into one and posted in the Member's Car Journals. At least in that sub forum you'd have the attention of more like minded owners who have also made risky/borderline mods. But you posted in the general forums which have the most traffic on the site.

You couldn't possibly have posted all these threads and expected nothing but praise could you? You must have wanted some kind of feedback from your peers and the general consensus is that these mods are... not the greatest...

Do what makes you happy. If you post on a public forum you may get feedback that you don't like. Some may be rude, others helpful. That said you opened yourself up to a discussion about it. I get why you would be hurt by some of the comments. Keep in mind you are dealing with people of all ages and walks of life. Everyone approaches feedback a different way.

Keep on doing what makes you happy. Maybe start your own build thread? Enjoy the car. It's awesome!

My counter argument:

A picture is worth a thousand words.

I didn't expect praise, but I didn't expect for people to spit in mine and my families face either and that's exactly what they've done. This car is a family project....my wife's and two boys even though they aren't the greatest changes they are changes we have done as a family and we are very proud of them. We did it with very little money and no ones help.

No one is spitting in your family's face. Take some criticism, if you did not want it then you should not of posted on a PUBLIC forum. Just because you buy a new car doesn't mean it needs stuff done to it. I have had my car for 12 months and only mod I have done is change the antenna to a shark fin with blacked out emblems.

I get tons of positive reactions and comments without mods. Just stop while you're ahead. If you even are ahead.
