The red part is paint, not light. BUT the OP's design is too "obnoxious" (unsure of the proper term to use). I kept mine subtle. See pic attached.

I also blacked out the high beam reflectors because I retrofitted a bixenon one, meaning I get both lows and highs using the same light source.

People like the OP just keep making the clean/stock twins look better and more valuable is about the only good thing here... I hate seeing people ruin amazing cars like this. As for everyone that says its his car let the guy do what he wants, maybe you should put down the crack pipes. If more people got flamed for doing this kind of crap more would realize their stupidity and stop while they're ahead.

While this isn't something I would do to my car... it makes sense and was executed perfectly. Very nice work and I think it represents the "right way" to do this kind of accent.

The way you did this doesn't raise any safety, or legality red flags either.
