Have you looked at a vw golf space saver in 18"?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/VW-Golf-V...c4cdcb9&_uhb=1

I wonder whether this would fit on.

Sorry I was just thinking what else may fit. Can you get a 17x6 wheel? Do Enkei do a rally width wheel?

I'm running motegi traklites, but when I do upgrade my brakes, I will no longer be able to. I plan on going with mach v awesomes when that time comes

I do believe they are planning on doing another run of traklites and have talked about possibly running 18s through this batch (for brake clearance). I will have to call them again. I do believe theyw ill be pricier than the RPF1s though (I'm talking version 1, not the current versions available)

I didn't say as light, I said light enough. And I already mentioned Rotas, but practically EVERY wheel people are going to put on a BRZ/FR-S is also in that weight range. All of which are also comparable in weight to the stock wheels.

Also, we're talking about a spare. Pop your trunk and tell me you can do worse than that.
