Thanks, that's probably it for a little while. Perhaps a few minor cosmetic stuff. Thinking about some alcantara interior pieces and reading out the tail lights. I still haven't formed a complete opinion on those things yet.

The next big thing will be forced induction. I've been patiently waiting for the Innovate kit to get released and see if it will fulfill my need for power. I'm hoping to have something late summer, we'll see how it goes.

I personally don't think you should red out your tails! The way you have it set up is nice since you have chrome and silver throughout your car like the chrome fender piece.

I had the car aligned this evening.

Running -1.2 camber up front and about -2.8 in the rear. We maxed out the camber adjustment on the fronts. The car is ridding a lot better, I can't wait for mid-ohio. I'll be carving through the WV mountains on my way there.

Update:

So it turns out the camber plates were mounted incorrectly from Eibach. I'll need to take them off and remount them. I'm probably running a lot of caster but the car feels very good (just a bit sensitive).

I also threw some wax on the car today:

If that's not enough, here are some more:

Quick Update:

I finally got the camber plates rotated and mounted properly:

I'm up in Columbus Ohio and took it by IPS for an alignment (looks like lower rear trailing arms are a must):

The car is ridding smooth although still a little bouncy for my taste. The rear struts seem to be making a lot of noise like they are rattling around over bumps. Hopefully I can get them to quite down. All set for Mid-Ohio on Monday. Unfortunately the forecast is calling for thunderstorms and a 40% chance of rain

Still running stock rear lower control arms? I'm curious what caused the differences in your rear camber.

Yeah still running stock, I'm not sure what is causing it.

Every time you post updates, I have to check the thread on my mobile because work blocks photobucket. But the look makes it totally worth it. That thing is sitting beautifully.

A small confession, a pic of your car is why I eventually chose CSB back in December when I bought the car.

Update:

I was at Mid-Ohio for the Auto Interest test and tune day. I ran with the intermediate group and had a blast. It was raining early on and everyone was sliding. The weather cleared up in the afternoon and the track dried quick. The car is amazing on the track. My last session I was killing it. I found a great line in turn 8 and was faster than most there. I got up to 108mph on the back straight and the Wilwoods held up pretty good into the breaking zone. Quite a few BRZs and FRSs there today.

Raining Early:

Turbo S2000 met the wall:

I caught two shots of "Draco-REX"

Unfortunately I didn't get any data but I was running in the 1:58-1:59 range once I fully took off the stability control and the track dried out.

Update:

Looks like I need to find another photo storage site and divide up some of these photos, I guess too many people are looking at my thread

Eibach is offering a free upgrade to their suspension systems so I'll likely take them off and ship them to them to rebuild. I'm thinking of running Summit Point with SCCA at the end of the month. So I'll probably wait until after that event. Below is the fix to the R2 coilvoers that Eibach is providing:

Multi-Pro R2
-1in droop spacer installed to allow the removal of helper springs
-Updated spring lengths from 6” to 7” (no spring rate change)
-Compression and rebound valving was improved for better street ride characteristics without sacrificing track performance
-Full open setting on compression and rebound recommended for street use
-Removed helper springs
-Updated spring lengths from 7” to 8” ( no spring rate change)
-Updated to new rear upper mount bushings
-Compression and rebound valving was improved for better street ride characteristics without sacrificing track performance
- Full open setting on compression and rebound recommended for street use

I'm considering trying to find a set of 17x8 to 17x9 Enkei RFP1s or something light. Hopefully something used. I want something lighter for the track and something I can throw some R-compounds on.
Also considering the a clutch and flywheel at some point before the forced induction.
