Let's refrain from individual, vendor or any other form of bashing in this thread from now on. Too many rumors coming from people 3rd hand and being used to fuel fires that go nowhere and spawn nothing but negativity. If you have an experience you are not satisfied with, that is between you and whomever that other party was. Take the high road and work it out with them. If it is regarding an opinion you do not share, make your point through logic and reason instead of sarcasm and slander. If you can not come to an agreement, try dropping it.
Now that everyone is putting their best foot forward, here is an under hood driving video of the SC... ![]() [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xlq3XspyBH0"]Innovate Motorsports: FR-S Non-Intercooled 75mm Pulley - Under hood road test - YouTube[/ame] |

I think the solution might be to toss the paper filter, go with an E85 pump and install an in-line E85 filter.

Did I just read that right? Was it just recommended that if someone is wronged by a vendor they should keep it between themselves and the vendor or just "drop it"?

I have never run any form of octane booster/injector cleaner/etc none zero nada zip.
Prior to e-85 tune car was driven on road on california pump and raced on 100 octane unleaded race fuel. I have used the same e-85 station and check my fuel for contamination. I get so tired of all the well it must be this or that... It isnt short chopped fibers had contaminated my fuel tank they are the SAME short chopped fibers found between the pleats in the intank fuel filter. This has happened after long term e-85 use. I have no dog in this fight I don't sell ANY product that e-85 might require, or allows the use of e-85 in our cars. This was discovered only AFTER my new FI tune required the DI side to be close to the max in the amount of fuel it can deliver. Use the info as you see fit. If it helps you or the community great. It has already helped me. |

Buddy just sent this over to me of the fuel diagram.
He said the filter is part of the pump, but maybe @robispec can confirm this or not since he has already replaced this part i'm assuming. ![]()

![]() Agreed, back on topic. @robispec, I see that you had to ramp up DI load to compensate for both E85 and FI. Is it safe to assume that if one was running 92 or 100 octane E0 or E10, which doesn't require as rich of an AFR, that the DI load would be less and comfortably below its limit?
