Those are definitely not stage 2 numbers. Drift office estimated around 320 whp with 94 octane. Stage 1+ was around 265 with full header back no other mods.

This was an email from drift office a few months ago.

Thanks for your interest. Typically, the Stage 1 AVO kit installed and tuned / calibrated in-house is $6000. If you're going for Stage 1.5 with the 7~8 PSI actuator and upgraded MAP sensor, together with your headerback exhaust setup (>2.5 inches) you should be in the ~260WHP range with 94 octane. Price of the upgraded actuator and senor is $300, bringing that total to $6300.

Stage 2 is going to be quite a bit different, in that you will be needing a HD clutch, larger injectors (~ $400), and a Stage 2 calibration ($300 additional.) This doesn't include the labor for the clutch install @ $350, and injector install @ $300. So basically, for about $2k more for supporting mods, you're looking @ >320WHP.

Regards,

Truth be told, Stage 2 hasn't been finalized (yet!) and those numbers have been easily attained with 92 Octane Chevron gas running the uprated MAP Sensor and the now 8 PSI actuator together with an aftermarket exhaust.

It's no stretch of the imagination by any means and yes, that torque curve is pretty similar even on lower boost levels - albeit the lower TQ numbers. We just did one last week and at a peak of 7 PSI of boost falling to 5 PSI, it was holding 195#s TQ in that same range all the way to 7k RPM...

BTW, if you guys didn't read this before, YOU WILL NEED AN UPRATED CLUTCH if you plan on exceeding Stage 1.5 in this case...

Regards!

@Drift-Office are you finding any fuel starvation issues with these stage 2 power levels like some of the track boys are?

As mentioned earlier, AVO and Drift-Office hasn't finalized a "Stage 2" offering yet, and when we do, you can bet there won't be compromises, as with any of our offerings.

Regards!

I haven't had the chance to talk to the guy with the black Dubai FR-S or the tuner (who also tuned my car) so I don't know the exact build details, PSI they're running, other mods, etc. Can't drive for another month due to a broken leg so it'll have to wait.

It definitely looks like a great little kit though. Love the design, love the shape of the power curve & DAT TORQUE. So damn tempting but it's probably too expensive for me at this point and I'm not sure how it'll handle Dubai heat or track duty etc.

Still, if & when I get more details or a drive in the car I'll post up.

AVO or Drift Office:

How much do you think the stock overpipe/downpipe/front pipe combo is robbing the kit? I noticed your stage 2 requires this section be replaced. Just wondering if you guys have a ballpark idea of how restrictive this section is at the power levels you have shown (250-300 whp).
