All things considered the NSX was still incredibly impressive. If I was a bit older and had more disposable income I'd be looking for an older NSX to pick up as a weekend car. IMO for the current prices there's not many cars that beat it in the looks department.

Instead of weight reduction how bout lowering springs. Lower the car one inch and it will have the lowest COG of any car in the world. Sorry off topic I know.

Losing weight helps almost everywhere. On your car or yourself.

I had an MR2 Spyder which I removed about 200 lbs from and got it under 1975 lbs. Even with 138hp it was a fun little car. I hope I can get this one down to about 2400 lbs.
