Nothing related to the community directly... I just have a deadline on my FRS and ae86... They have to be completed... But when the news drops after I'm done everyone will be surprised... I promise you that. NDA till after I've completed the cars.

I'm discouraged to think the Stage 2 kit will require another long R&D process. The markup on these must be pretty good. Companies have to do a balancing act between R&D costs and projected sales. With the price announced already, they have a good idea of what they can afford and still turn a reasonable profit. But the hours put into this are growing daily.

I worry they're going to determine it's not worth the investment and drop the whole thing.

Not likely to happen. It's not like they have everyone in the company doing R&D on this one project, so the costs are not likely to be as high as you imagine.

yes yes and yes my car has been on e85 for 5 months (zero 91 "washes") now and after the last tune with the inovate supercharger we drove it for a day and then went to the local dynojet for COMPARISON dyno #'s (I have my stock car and every mod/tune changes recorded on this dyno). the car started breaking up above 6K...regap plugs to 22 same problem new plugs gapped @24 same problem but now happening as low as 5400 finally take the fuel pump out and the entire float bowl area had fine felt like debris...little sock filter on the pump clogged/restricted..started taking the system apart and these particles were EVERYWHERE! 6 hours later (thank goodness for the spare engine sitting on my shop floor) after washing the entire full fuel system down and cleaning/replacing everything it finally ran clean again!

I seen it, looks the ugly.

I also received a ride along with the great Robi.

There is so much more going on in his car that you can't compare it to a stock car anymore,
I did 3 sessions in my BRz (AEM Series 2 on E-85) then got a ride in Robi's passenger seat, the power the kit makes is outstanding, as are the improvements Robi has made to the chassis, not to mention Robi's control of the car.

Overall I would have to say the Innovate SuperCharger is what most of you are looking for, whether you know it/want to admit it or not....And yes I'm looking Directly at the nut huggers out there talking out of their A$$ about how this kit sucks and we need dyno numbers,,,just sit down shut up and wait for the amusement park to open, I wish there was a way for the public to understand that they are not helping anything by pressuring the companies and spouting negativity.

This kit more than fills the need for torque the factory engine leaves. Robi was simply exploding out of corners, I was cheating and watching his Speedo to check corner entrance speeds and try to compare them to my own speeds....a lofty goal I know...while I'm proud to say our entrance to the front straight speeds were...we will call it...in the same ball park, by the time he reached the Start finish, he had already exceeded my speed at the first braking point atop the hill leading to turn 1...did I mention Robi was only driving about 9/10th's (Taxi mode as he calls it)

So this is from straight e85 consumption...would a "wash" of regular pump gas take care of this problem, or do you feel its inevitable when running e85?

Kind of bummed since I am waiting for an e85 tune right now.

This stops random numbers from being spread around and exaggerated before the kit is 100% ready. Trust me I feel your pain I want this kit but like everyone else I just have to weight and i hope in 5 years I'll be happy I did with a car still running great.
