I don't see why it couldn't have been a turbo. But yes most likely based in Cali it was a Vortech.

Oh well.

I hope the intercooled version of this kit doesn't take as long to come out as the non-intercooled has.

Well I seriously doubt it will come out before the non-intercooled. So it will probably take just as long, and most likely take a bit longer.

I think what he means is that hopefully it doesn't take another year after the non-intercooled is released.

Cliff notes
Inovate as a company PURCHASED a car to do all fitments and testing.
CARB approval is a primary goal for this kit.
No customer will be asked to be a "tester" Alpha/beta or otherwise known or unknown status.
Kits are not unicorns they are horses and there is a herd waiting for all the testing to be approved.
E-85 MIGHT be available as an option. To speed up the test cycle and because my car is already a dedicated e-85 car I was given the chance to "join the team".
The I-C version will go through the same test cycles as the non I-C car using the same purchased vehicle.
ALL THIS TAKES TIME. NOTHING WILL BE SOLD BEFORE IT IS READY.
ALL INDICATIONS are for an iminent release...But I'm not in that loop.
My testing has shown some MAJOR E-85 FUEL SYSTEM "ISSUES".
This will be dealt with in a different post.
Part not all of the issues have to do with the volume of fuel needed. Specifily when turning LEFT at high "G" rates causing fuel "scavanging" of the stock fuel delivery system.
A LARGER PUMP MAKES THIS WORSE.
More to follow.

I was really happy to finally see this kit in action... But after hearing what Robi just said it males me very sad... I need my car complete by September and it doesn't seem like that's going to happen if I keep waiting for the stage 2 kit from innovate... I love the sound that a twin screw makes and that's what I wanted for my car but I don't know anymore.

You have to understand the history of sprintex they never rush anything to the market. They are use to people with older paid off vehicles so 3-5 years old coming to them for kits. This gives them plenty of time to perfect the kit. This market is new to them the Honda fit kit took well over a year to come out after the car was being sold. Jeep guys will tell you the same thing that they make awesome products but until it is exactly where they want it they will refuse to release it or any info on it. This stops random numbers from being spread around and exaggerated before the kit is 100% ready. Trust me I feel your pain I want this kit but like everyone else I just have to weight and i hope in 5 years I'll be happy I did with a car still running great.
