Can somebody take a picture of their windshield corner text?

I recently had my glass replaced, and do not think I received OEM glass like I requested.

It's not even been a week and this is now how my glass looks when cleaned:

There are gobs of pits, so many that I can feel the roughness when I wipe it clean. Also there are these strange "bubbles" showing up that look like circles.

I was wondering if somebody could do me a favor and capture the windshield text at the driver's side corner with a blank sheet of paper behind it so it can be read. This is what Mine looks like:

Thanks, I really appreciate you taking the time.

This glass was only put in like 10 days ago, and I only just washed it yesterday because it looked so dirty. So the damage was already done.

I'll call the installer and see what they can do, it should have some kind of install warranty, and hopefully this is covered.

Oh, my, that is ugly!

You might try some "Invisible glass" cleaner and / or some claybar treatment on the glass, to make sure it's not a surface problem, before the glass is condemned.

Try Stoner's Invisible Glass with newspaper. It usually cleans off everything on my windshield.

The glass in my new FR-S was really bad Instead of taking a fine steel wool too it I just let time and many washings do the job. It was several months after I bought the car before there were no longer any tell-tale signs left.

Google "White distilled vinegar to clean glass" for some ideas to get rid or what appears to be hard water stains. Hope this helps.

I've cleaned the snot outa areas of this windshield, and it's definitely pitted all over. The picture doesn't capture it quite as well as I would hope, but it actually lights up like a xmas tree when the light hits it just the right way, it's crazy.

I actually went and did this in the hopes that I am just mentally retarded and unfortunately it didn't help. I even was sure to use water from my RO filter.

Wow. I got no more ideas. That glass looks horrible. Did the replacement come with any kind of warranty? I feel for you. I'm sure that's agrivating to drive that way.

Even though it is factory glass it can be Reman factory glass. I see that a ton in bodyshops and dealerships. Most of the wheels when you get them replaced if you curb something comes being remanufactured, most of those parts are.
