Does any people know how much for order the emission compliance label as below?
" If your state requires an Emissions Compliance Label, one may be ordered through your Scion dealer or the Toyota Materials Distribution Center (MDC) 310-468-9800 or MDC@toyota.com"
Thanks.

OK, We installed the TRD CAI on the BRZ this AM. The instructions and parts were all quality and the install required about 25 minutes. Some hardware from the OEM CAI were used in the install. The original MAF sensor is simply moved to the new airbox. If you look at your engines I believe the covers say both Toyota and Subaru; I doubt that you will encounter any crap from your dealer on warranty issues

Note: this was included in the instructions___

" If your state requires an Emissions Compliance Label, one may be ordered through your Scion dealer or the Toyota Materials Distribution Center (MDC) 310-468-9800 or MDC@toyota.com"

Also: "This TRD Performance Air Intake Kit has received 50-State Emissions Compliance via the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Not all states require the Emission Compliance Label for this TRD Performance Air Intake Kit, please order MDC part number 00602-21140. Proof of ownership may be required."

Next up---I do not have access to a dyno. I am 71 years-old and have been an SCCA licensed driver as well having driven a variety of performance machinery my whole life. It's my opinion that the TRD CAI has dramatically improved the low-end torque. When I roll on the throttle I'm getting a nice seamless torque response throughout the RPM range, where the OEM setup was peaky at best. All of the OEM system is removed except the last little bit of the sound tube, which is blocked off with a cap. The cabin is slightly less noisy, I can now hear the injectors clicking (a common Subaru trait). The engine now sounds like an engine; lovely, smooth mechanical sounds instead of that "artifical sound-tube." There is no "magic" bullet to increase horsepower without spending cubic dollars. Subaru and Toyota have equipped these cars with technology that was common only to real racing cars not so many years ago. My goal has been to enhance my BRZ with practical additions that increase my driving pleasure and enjoyment. The only other items I've added were a master cylinder brace and braided stainless brakelines. These enhancements have produced a much firmer pedal that reminds of race cars I've driven. Now I'm going to enjoy driving the car and "learning" to get the most out of it with what skills I still have.

Don't know for sure, but I'm guessing it's free. I didn't need one for NY. They probably supply them "on request", because most states don't require them. Maybe I'm being optimistic here, but it can't be too costly to mail them. They probably will require a "proof of purchase" to make sure you're not asking for a compliance label for some other manufacturers' product.

How many states need this label?

I checked on-line.

I thought NY also need.

States that have adopted California emission standards include: Arizona, California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.

Thanks again
