Gold on WRB

Here's mine, just installed today. I couldn't resist the gold on blue after I saw @frsguy707's pics of the gold 18s in this thread

18x8 +48 with ecsta xs 245/35s

Suspension wasn't fully settled in these. I'll update with proper ride height next time I take some more shots.

I have more info and pics on my mod journal.

Some better pictures:

Full Album Here

Here's a video of them in motion, the best wheels shots are in the second half. I got a better vid in the works.

FYI, those are not Continental DW. They are DWS. Totally different tire. The DW is a sticky, summer tire. The DWS is an all-season.

My friend that looks great, stock suspension? This is the only rim I have seen that looks OK to me at stock height. I was torn between these and RFP1's but something on the RFP1 just looks 'off' without some serious drop. Not that a wee bit of lowering would be detrimental

I think it has to do with how these look 'larger' than the actual rim size while the RPF's look 'smaller'

Regardless thank you for your pics

Yep - full stock. Planning to drop 15-25mm at some point in the future. Step by step

Thanks, they don't look as "chrome like", as they do in this picture, which is why was curious what they looked like in reality.

...
My photos are sort of reality - made right after I bought and installed them. Definetely not "chrome like" nor polished. I also thought they are more "shiny" based on all the official pictures. Suggest you have a "live" look at any OZs in this colour before buying.

Are those really 245/35-18 Tires. They look good. I'm thinking you are on to something. Might be a weight penalty over the standard 18" fitment of 225/40-18 for this car, but they look quite nice. I'm thinking real track freaks still want 17" wheels (lighter, and lower rotational inertia), but 18" wheels are definitely the choice for turning heads on the street. Looks great man.

@DetroitJake yep, def 245/35. I def sacrificed a little performance for the looks here too. Once I'm ready to invest in R-compounds I intend to get a set of lighter 17s for track duty; these are for turning heads on the streets
