Meh, almost one year and I still think it's nothing special. A budget sports car.

I hate to say it but I feel like you probably missed out on a lot going too fast

I fuckin loved college and have no problem with the debt accrued by taking a few more years. They were so damn fun.

Today is my cars 1 year anniversary of ownership...actually purchased the car on the 23rd, but picked it up from the dealer on the 25th. After 12,969 miles (including a cross country trip, a track day, and lots of wet weather) I am in love with the car more than ever...which seems to be the rule for this car; the more time you spend with it the more you love it! I forgive all it's minor and insignificant faults, it's just too good of a driving experience to complain about things that really don't matter.

I will say to any owner, if you have not done so already, replacing the stock steering rack bushings with solid, precise fitting ones from a more rigid material (like aluminum or Delrin) is highly recommended... how the car should have come from the factory with a noticeable improvement over stock in how direct and precise the steering is. I just did the swap 2 weekends ago and wish it was done sooner! More stable and now full fuel level feels much more balanced with less 'understeer' than it did before the bushing swap at ~1/2 full fuel level...

But yes, after one year in the FRS, I can't imagine any other car to be in for a fun DD... seriously! It's what I always wanted; gorgeous exterior design with a superb chassis and very decent stock motor that gets good fuel economy at an affordable purchase price! Miata would have been my second choice, but it's a convertible and does not have a 'sexy' exterior nor a comfortable interior. Fully gutted it's fine though (been in a Spec Miata set up for a guy just a littler taller than I...
