A pilot bearing is included with the flywheels, though you will need to press or tap it in before installing.

Update to the Base Stage 1 dyno chart, thanks to Drift Office. They had a customer come through who wanted the turbo kit fitted to a fully stock car - no exhaust upgrades. Running on 92 octane, base map only.

I'll update the front page as well.

So is the new base map run at 7psi? I thought the old was 5-6?

With the new 6psi actuator it will hit a bit higher peak boost, but it settles down to the 5-6 psi range (due to back pressure from the stock exhaust system). So we feel it's a bit more accurate to list it as a 6psi actuator, as that's what a stock car will see.

That torque curve.......

That is the curve that sold me the kit.... And to think there are people excited about a kit that has not been released because it is RUMORED to have a similar curve... Why wait??? This has been available for quite some time now!!

I had a hard time keeping my foot out of it on my way home tonight

An exhaust of some kind - even if that is just a muffler delete, would be nice to really be able to hear the boxer rumble. With the kit fitted to my stock exhaust it sounds like a stock WRX.

Funny, I've always compared the AVO kit sound to a WRX with exhaust work. Love that sound.

Turbo does not = positive displacement sc

No matter how you slice it.

Glad you are excited to own an AVO.

Rest of post edited.

I've never posted about it because there is no need for me to bash it. BUT since you felt the need to come here and make it seem like the PD kit is better I ask again, what is the advantage?

What?!

Whoa slow down there turbo. Re read my post. I never implied pd is better. Just different animals altogether. A dyno doesn't tell the whole story. Throttle response, boost thresholds, simplicity, CARB approval etc are the other players.

I made that post because you stated that it is rediculois people are waiting for a PD kit when the avo is out already. They are two completely diff kits why would Someone not wait for the other one if that is the kit they want?

And no matter what you think I am genuinely happy for you and your avo kit.

There's a lot more appeals to the Innovate kit other than the power. Some are ok with 220-250whp and for that I think the Innovate is a really good choice.

Of course a turbo is always going to make more power than a supercharger... but there's benefits to a supercharger approach the turbo doesn't have.

I'm interested in both kits, and completely agree that the AVO outperforms the Innovate based on everything I've seen. But dyno doesn't tell all the story. I'm still waiting on temp readings from both kits, need to try out AVO as I need to make sure the throttle & boost response is good enough, and the fact that I'd have to disassemble it every 2 years for the smog nazis is kind of annoying. Not to mention the Innovate is a bolt on kit, with very little parts other than just the Supercharger. So, there's benefits to both. Not everybody is worried about 100% performance.
