Think of your car handling like it does but not giving up anything in a straight line...thats where the HUGE S*it eating grin comes from under your full face helmet. It comes from you going through a corner and catching the M3 getting to the straight and he doesn't just dissapear in a straight line...he stays RIGHT where you left the corner...oh thats right you will out break the s*it out of him in the next corner entry too! WOOT WOOOT FUN FUN FUN!

only if we focus on the negative...

Explaining the power delivery of a a PD supercharged car (if you havent felt it before) Is like explaining the taste of salt to someone who has never tasted it...AND this engine was lacking most where the Inovate kit delivers its kick...win win imo.

If the HP is reading 15% too low, then would the torque not also be reading 15% too low? 290NM + 15% = 341NM. Or does it apply to the HP number only.

It should be the same, but the torque numbers in that graph are apparently adjusted to reflect torque at the flywheel. That kinda throws things off. I figured only a 7% difference with the provided numbers and my simplistic math.

Ultimately, we're just narrowing down the numbers to something maybe in the neighborhood of what we'll see. Nothing quotable.

Definitely this is a true application of the "Area under the Curve" versus peak numbers.

So you can do all of the conversion math that you want but what you should really focus on, with this latest dyno sheet, is the shape of the new curves and how they relate to the old curves.

Dyno plots are so rarely understood, everyone tries to do an apples to apples comparison and throw the numbers around. The numbers really don't have any meaning EXCEPT in reference to the baseline run, and even then that is not necessarily accurate because of environmental conditions changing between the baseline run and the run after the modifications have completed.

It's nice to throw around numbers but honestly they're worthless.

Now measuring the size of Robi's grin after driving... that's probably more meaningful.
