Why are u even bothering in this post since u have nothing constructive to add? If ur anti xbox and ps why would u click on a "xbox or ps vote" thread? Lol
U act like anyone is arguing pc vs anything here, i game on pc as well but thats irrelevant here so im keeping it to myself, feel free to start ur own thread "pc is better than all" or whatever.

for the avg gamer, consoles are alot cheaper and better to play on. show me a 400$ pc (OS included) that can run ANY console ported game thats come out in past year and look nearly as good as on the console. My pc cost over 2k when i built it and had been upgraded since then, alot more than an xbox and a dozen games.

Also that video link... U know using opening cinematics (read:not gameplay) is very misleading to claim they show how good a game is...

Relax. I own all 3 (If you include the PC as a console). Call it satire. Most people consider it being not very constructive.

Reason why I post here is because why bother trying to get people to side with one or another?

I argue to get a good argument. Convince me. Isn't this what the thread is about? Why is one preferred over the other. Why isn't a particular system chosen over the other. I came here to see what people say, and its definitely my input on what I overall think of these consoles. People are willing to pay 4 digit figures for a console that MAY break and warranty would NOT cover for it. I want to know why.

And just to let you know I have built a PC $300 that could run pc games on the lowest settings.

Don't get your panties in a bunch. All of this is to help "educate" the buyer on why they should invest a pretty heafty amount for a console that does whatever much.

Lowest does not equal "as good as the console port looks"

Im more than relaxed, and ur answer shows how little u understand that "are you going to buy the xbox or the ps" is not the same as "my pc is better than consoles they suck"

I don't understand the hate. Everyone is complaining about internet like they all don't have 24/7 wifi. I think it'll be a good system with some dumb DRM stuff. That's the path everyone will go down eventually. I don't know what people were expecting.... but if you don't pirate your games, it's not a problem. It's likely to have the best online network and the most comfortable ergonomic controller.

I'm curious how they're going to interface with the cable provider. They must have some kind of throughput for the cable box's HDMI that can talk two ways. Very interesting and I like that quite a bit.

Also really like the design. It's simple and elegant like a mature piece of AV entertainment hardware, not a gimmicky interesting design that most consoles end up being.

Still... name is weird. Not as dumb as Wii, but still pretty bad, IMO.

I'm picking one up on launch with Forza 5 and CoD Ghosts.

Actually, probably neither for a while as GT6 is going to be on PS3, and that won't be until holiday 2016, so I'm good for consoles for a few more years.

You asked for a PC built with $400. I gave you an answer. Now you're getting all defensive over my statement. You expect the world to be full of rainbows and butterflies.

And if you read carefully. I seemly stated I enjoy my PC more than a console. I didn't realize my personal opinion offended you so much. Like said, don't get your panties in a bunch.
