Ah, well in that case, of course - I never really understood the hinged ones.

Also, on to other recommendations! Do you think you can make your flange thickness thinner but the footprint larger to engage a greater number of the OEM studs / fasteners?

We certainly could, but the trade-off that we would have to make would make the brace substantially less effective. If we make the flange thickness thinner it forces us to make the entire bracket thinner, which would require a substantial re-design to even attempt to get back to the equivalent stiffness of the current design. Not to mention adding additional material, cutting, bending, and labor = more expensive. More expensive is just fine if it makes a better product, but in our testing we deemed the additional mounting to be unnecessary. I like the recommendation though!

Thanks for adding me! Been out of town for two weeks on a road trip from Alaska to southern California back up through Denver and Alberta to home. I wish you could've used my car for product testing! hahahaha I ran into a lot of twisties!
