What's the part number on the lights, I get 20% off list price see if I can score some cause I'm definitely not spending 2200 on gt86 lights for my frs

subaruonlineparts.com has them for less than 650 each for the full assembly.

I saw that but are they just plug and play or do I need other parts?

It would make more financial sense to sell FR-S and buy BRZ than try to retrofit Subaru headlights into Toyota.

Financial sense and sports cars don't really go hand and hand. Plus the JDM 86 HID headlights are ridiculously priced.

When I emailed them they said factory HID ballast isn't included in the complete package and said "etc".

I was under the impression that the only thing you needed to do was modify the wiring...it says it includes the ballast.

All I know is I need them lol

well the write-up by moto-p is a bit better since you retain ALL of the functionality of the JDM headlights (don't get high beams with the other conversion.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24352

there is also going to be the additional step of changing the wiring for (or relocating) the turn signals, since they are integrated in the BRZ headlight

so no, not PnP.

ahh sweet, thank you heaps!! wouldnt know what to do with that much turn signals though.. haha. Apparently the jdm 86 has an auto levelling system while the brz has a manual levelling system, would that be an issue? :S
