I dont think fuel is the main problem because several cars were tuned on the same fuek that I used without any issues. The data logs show are different to the tune map the car is staying with the tuner hooing that the ecu would adapt to the changes

No I did not reset the ecu before the basline dyno however the ecu was reset when we faced the issue

You might be right about the frs loosing power on a 3" exhaust na setup but im taking a different route, the na tune is temporary until I receive the turbo kit.whats worrying me is that if the ecu is going into some safe mode or taking time to adapt then FI tune would be a nightmare

most flash then run the car if you just flash and are on the dyno you showed do a few pulls for the calibrations to be set but check with @FA20Club.com or @Visconti or whichever ecutek tuner you will be using.

Car is running smooth I think the ecu needed time to adapt with the new map

A for learning..... Stock IAM is .7, if the tuner set's it to 1.0 you will get full advance on the first pull ( a few degrees more timing ). Other than IAM, there are the long term fuel trims (these should be reset with each flash or ecu reset). Yes those two things combined could add up to 15whp or more, but from what you describe, it was pulling more and more timing each pull due to learned knock retard so whatever direction your tuner was trying to go was the wrong direction.

It would help if you posted dyno plot and you can send me the data logs if you want an impartial opinion.

Was this the map you drove in on or was it the base flash provided by the tuner?

Were theses multiple pulls on the same tune file, or did he make a pull, change the tune, flash the tune then make another pull?

If they were back to back pulls, you lost power each time either due to learned knock retard or excessive temps or both.

I would try to get dyni plots by tomorrow. It was the stock map when I drove in

I was probably the last car he tuned before urs, i never had that problem. i didnt do a base map since i installed the mods myself. but when he uploaded the custom maps, it did drop a bit, but on the runs after, it kept going up till i got to 187.5 whp and 150.9 tq
