So a few days ago I rear ended a car and caused 7k worth of damage to my love. Insurance is fixing the car but I will have to get my own insurance. I've gotten quotes at around $800 per month! As a student, I can't afford to pay over $1100 per month to drive this awesome car. Since this car is leased, what options do I have? I can't imagine working all summer to buy a POS Civic and still pay $300 per month for liability. I'd appreciate any kind of advice.

how far will you go until you realise the POS is not the civic...? excuse me but, i'm happy i dont live close to your place.. with the number of accident and the number of ticket you have at your age... maybe a sports car aint the solution for you...

holy crap! I am 20 years also, and just got my first ticket a few weeks ago... no wrecks or previous tickets for me. Learn some responsibility and start caring about your life and others.

this has to be a troll. Theer's no way that anyone would let this clown drive their car. Shoot, I wouldn't even let him sit in my car if he has this many problems being in a motorized vehicle.

I hope you have a nice pair of walking shoes

@Joetheegyptian:

Are you sure you are human and not a Tornado? I hear there are a lot of tornadoes going through there these days....

Seriously, though. I've never had a car totaled, been in a couple accidents, maybe have a half dozen speeding tickets in the past 17 years.

And with over 15 tickets and 4 wrecks, for which you are AT FAULT, I would love to know what judge hasn't permabanned your driver's license after all that. As much as people like to knock old people for having terrible driving records, you actually outdo most of them, and you haven't even moved out of your parents basement yet.

If you are trolling, well, you're an idiot and I hope you enjoy the ban you will eventually get. If you aren't, do the rest of the country a favor and stick to public transportation. I don't even think you could handle a bicycle like some of the other members have suggested.

but in all seriousness, you should be considering buying a unmolested 240sx, and calling it a day. No speeding, no driving while tired, no driving while texting, no driving while eating, no driving while using the phone, no driving while ...... blah. you get the point. You have proven yourself a threat to yourself and others. I suggest you get a supremely cheap old car and call it a day until you have proven to the rest of the world you are safe on the road.

Good God, you're right. Imagine if he lived in a populated area.

Seriously, OP, if you are for real, get off the roads before you kill someone.

Hahah, us Floridians don't require insurance on motorcycles. But yes, a bicycle is probably his best bet.

I had 18 tickets between 18 and 24.. One in the last 11 years.. Driving on a unfamiliar road and didn't realize the speed dropped, took full responsibility for that..

How did I get so many tickets.. Stupidity.. My insurance rates were so high I couldn't afford it, so I drove with out insurance.. Few tickets for that, no money to pay them, warrant out for my arrest, arrested three times because of it.. Last time I almost lost my kids because of it, judge to,d me if I could be so irresponsible in my life, he hates to see what kind of father I am.. Decided to grow the fuck up, which sounds like you need to..

I learned, immaturity and irresponsibility, if you not trolling, and I don't see how your not, as I was under the impression all states had points based systems now and don't see how you have a license.. I truly hope you grow the fuck up, before you kill someone, or seriously hurt someone for your stupidity..
