@robispec -
I have to say, you are easily one of the nicest and most approachable guy at the track. I've turned down rides in your car, because I don't do well as a passenger. But, I really do appreciate and value your input.

Couple questions for you:

Were you able to log your water and oil temps? If so, how did they compare from when you were NA?

Are you running Innovate's intercooler, your own, or none at all?

Hopefully you'll be at SOW this Sunday (26th) - I'd love to chat with you about the SC.

Thanks!

For reference Randy Pobst (championship pro-driver) ran 1:51.3 in a stock BRZ at Laguna Seca for Motor Trend's best drivers car article/video.

Innovates intercooler is integrated into the manifold, it's a liquid to air intercooler. Robi has stated previously that he is running the non-intercooled kit.

Go to video uploader section in your youtube channel, check mark the video and look up top for a drop down menu where it will give you the options to make them public, private or with direct link only.

Funny you ask.
on the dyno we tuned on, ZERO issues.
I added fuel at the same station I alwasys get E85 at, and went to the local dyno jet where I have dyno pulls representing EVERY change/mod done to the power producing/delivery system on the car AND THE STOCK BASELINE.. and it was breaking up above 6000...so we went back to the shop and regapped the plugs to 22
the plug gaps were ALL OVER THE PLACE..ranging from 40 to 28....stock.
Couldn't get back to the dyno before I had to leave for the track. I wasn't worried as the air/fuels were rock steady and SAFE (read there is more power available) at 11.0-11.3. We went to the track and this car used to be fun now it is REALLY REALLY FUN.. ;-)

Robi, what is that noise under breaking, that's sounds scary as hell?!
Trying a new complund on the rear brakes increased the bite but Woah they got NOISY....feel was better but not so much as to want to keep the new compound.

Robi,

Time to call up Motortrend and have them call Pobst back to the track to try your car! You are a great driver, lightyears ahead of a noob like me, but if he can put down those times stock, he'll crap on everyone with your car.

Now that you have power, I'm wondering if you're putting the 9" wide rims back on with wider rubber.
