Personally using old beach towels and dish soap for mine, it looks gorgeous for a day or two. Yeah there are imperfections but I'm not going to spend an hour or two a week detailing my car. Right now I'm spending about half an hour every two or three weeks.

To each their own.

Hope I am not too late to chime in.

Yes, AJ's is GREAT.

Ask for the express wax ($45). That is the one I would recommend.

I bought my FR-S to beat the damn piss out if it. I've got WAY worse scratches than what can be caused by a bad car wash!

But I do like it to be clean and scratched/beat.

9.95 is a crackhead price for a hand wash rofl

Looking at your location in Arizona it's not hard to figure out why though

AJ was really good -- handwash + express wax.

Only thing is that one guy left gum in my driver side carpet --
Also whatever they did they also melted the adhesive from my foot guard on my passenger side. Rear window wasn't wiped. Otherwise, rest was good.
