Injectors are going great after Simon calibrated everything. Clutch is a stage 2 pressure plate from ACS extreme, with a stage 1 floating organic disc.

Haven't looked at fuel pump pickup stuff yet, also a lot of racerom stuff to be worked out.

Nice fuel and results!!!

However i am still confused by your 14% statement... your 365 bhp would be what whp here in the US? Your 165 bhp would be what whp? 144 whp?

I haven't seen much of the data yet. We didn't push 98 ron much above 10psi but up to that it was fine on normal timing. Maybe 300 whp in "nix badly converted americaland numbers".

It doesn't mean damage can't occur I'll leave it to the vendors/tuners to predict that!

Yeah I think everyone is!! Maybe I should have listed everything in DD rwkw. I just did very rough conversions to dynojet WHP to make it clearer for you guys.

The proper conversion is

1 kw = 1.341 hp
Dyno dynamics shoot out mode baseline = 108 rwkw = 144 whp
Dynojet conservative baseline = 165 whp (the one on front page is 168)
so dd rwkw x 1.341 = dd whp x 1.146 = dynojet whp

Here's a quick snap of our final number for now at around 1 bar.

Over twice stock power or around 380 whp on a dynojet.

I'll get some full sheets, boost curve etc at a later date.

I am very excited about this kit but I do have some concerns like...

1) has anyone had any problems over heating on a daily driver since the intercooler basically block all the air flow to the radiator?

2) I don't like silicone piping and would like to have aluminum piping so is there hard intercooler piping available for this kit?

3) is it possible to put the hks ssq bov or greddy type rs bov on this kit?

4) is there a way to do away with the stock air box and pipe straight to the throttle body?

5) is this kit catless?

6) has anyone been getting a check engine light?

Any and all help is always appreciated...
Thanks in advance

That is pretty crap e85 fuel.
Can you also tune for the lab/race grade e85? The % will never be that far off plus it will be mixed with bp98 instead of caltex 98, grab a couple of 200l drums, that would be the true power ceiling for e85

Yeah we can use sucrogen e85 drums for all out power runs but the goal here is a daily driven legal, emission friendly tune so it was different blends of local pump fuels, bp98, united e85 and the crappy caltex.

1) I have done several passes back to back, and the Water temp. has not gone past 205 F

2) It's only silicone piping available at this point. It works pretty good.

3) I'll let Paul answer that one. I believe depending on how the BOV connection, you might need to weld a plate.

4) Yes, I have the Perrin CAI and it fits perfect with the kit.

5) Yes, the manifold is catless but you can still keep your secondary cat in the frontpipe.

6) No CELs.

I know what you are saying, I was specifically referring to your estimates on what the power ceiling could be for e85 hence that particular comment.

It doesn't totally block air flow to the radiator, air flows through the intercooler and then to the radiator. One of the major reasons for the dimensions of our FMIC was to balance charge cooling vs. air flow to the radiator. In a daily driver you won't see overheating issues. Even when we were climbing passes in Nevada we saw no issues, even with the a/c running.

2) I don't like silicone piping and would like to have aluminum piping so is there hard intercooler piping available for this kit?
No, we don't have a aluminum piping option. The silicone is wire reinforced, and will not burst under any pressure you can theoretically put through that engine. It's not the cheap 3-ply silicone that has given silicone a bad name.

3) is it possible to put the hks ssq bov or greddy type rs bov on this kit?
Anything is possible, but you'd probably have to weld a flange in to do it.

It is possible to do away with the stock air box, but I'm unsure what you mean by second part.

Quote:
5) is this kit catless?
The kit replaces the entire stock exhaust manifold, which removes that cat. The secondary cat is left in place - everything after the header can be left completely stock.
