There is no such thing as a 100% reliable perfect car. If you cannot afford repairs 5 years or so down the road, then you probably bought the wrong car. Perhaps a gently used Huffy.... |

Here's a question...my auto limited wrb brz has around 5,000 miles and not a scratch on it. Any idea what it's trade in value would be. If it's high enough, I would consider trading it in for a 2013 manual limited. But I really don't want to pay too much out of pocket for the swap. Any thoughts?

To trade this car for another is either an extreme overreaction or the act of an idiot. To worry about minor corrections is one thing, but to question the reliability of a Subaru boxer engine is the epitome of stupidity. This car is very reliable. A few TSB's in the first six months changes nothing. The only problem I have had is the NAV unit needed to be upgraded, and the dealer put in an new SD card and all has been just fine since then. I got my car in early November 2012 and have had no problems other than the NAV unit. It now works perfectly.
If you think you need to selll or trade this car already, then you either did not know or truly desire what this car represents. Please sell it and go buy a car that was made to be a passenger car and has been modified to make it sporty. In fact, I recommend you buy a Dodge Dart Sport as it is truly an Alfa Romeo Guiletta and then you can have your boring four door that at least drives better than a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry.... |
