I always park in gear and don't always rely on the parking break. Rotors starts developing rust immediately if the car is parked in the rain, it only takes 2 or 3 days for the break pads to stick to the rotors. |

We had to use the car's jack to get this jack out. I would have been so upset if this had happened after I installed the new one. |

My father was driving behind me on our way home and i tried to be a race car driver and hit a turn going more than twice the speed limit. Ended up almost swerving into the other lane and looking like an idiot. He was not amused...

Changed my oil for the first time and used the plastic drain pan I've had for years. It overflowed (this thing has over 5 quarts of oil!) and left an oil spill in my driveway. Make sure your drain pan will hold at least 6 quarts.

I installed SPC lower control arms and now my car has a crazy noise coming from the passenger side suspension. I suspect it's swaybar end link related but the dealership (had it there for an alignment) couldn't figure it out.

i was changing out my exhaust and i cut corners by using ramps instead of jack for the rear and when everything was done i gave it a lil gas and launched the ramps into my neighbors bushes. good thing they weren't outside like they always are.

This doesn't really make much sense. You can't "accidentally" put the car in R because of the gate lock. That said, I always do the "neutral wiggle" when I get in the car before starting to make sure it is not in gear. I had my one scare when I almost drove the car through a store's plate glass front when the mechanic left it in gear and I wasn't used to that. Started my truck and just let the clutch out and it lurched forward. Almost had to clean my seats. |

Installed Valenti reverse bumper lamp and you have to tap driver's tail light wires for them to work properly.
Since I had already installed Spyder tails earlier, the wire colors were different than the instructions, so I ended up tapping and untapping several wires until they finally worked. Needless to say, those wires have several strips of electrical tape wrapping to clean up my crappy handiwork.
