To be clear, I wasn't insinuating that you were trying to do anything underhanded here. That was a general scenario in my list of possible situations.

I have no problem going back to stock to get warranty work for something unrelated to my mods. That, in the spirit of the Magnusson-Moss warranty act, is the logical thing to do.

From what I can tell they aren't doing anything but changing the labelling on the actual hardware from the sprintex/bullet parts and then selling to the north american market.

As for warranty, the dealership I bought mine from said they were working with a local shop to develop a turbo kit that they would offer full warranty with as long as it was purchased and installed through the dealership. That was almost a year ago though, and no sign of it happening yet.
