I've been nothing but clear that my intent is to make a build thats stable for road course use
the small pulley is great for street and autox, thast why I am testing it. If I could lower sc temps I could run this on a road course; but I think the 3.33 or 3.125 offer better heat tolerance for 20 minute sessions at WOT


WMI is going to be used conservatively
my current pulley makes 14psi, I am capped off at 10psi
I have no HP goals per se, lets see what the technology does
if you cant afford the toys, dont knock the guys who can
WMI is something guys use down where I live, ymmv in Masschussetts


If I wanted the best dyno numbers I would take my car to a dynojet, and if you know me you know I build conservative, if you claim otherwise you dont know me

I can't speak to the first part of that statement, but I really don't think anyone capable of participating on this forum would have trouble building it right... The Vortech kit is one of the least complicated FI options out there.

No, Gem stopped talking to me because I wouldn't continually post his shit online in regards to that suspension guy fiasco. I got tired of seeing IM/Emails from him saying "Why aren't you defending me?" or "You should spearhead the campaign to get me unbanned". Sorry, but at the time, we were nearing our development cycle and I was overseeing a release. AKA, my job took my priority. So I stopped signing into that IM messenger.

Gem has always been about the numbers. He constantly wants EVERYONE to buy a Vortech so he can feel better about his decisions and feel like he's on the forefront. He's the best unpaid salesman I've ever seen. But regardless, at the end of the day, he's been nothing but hazy at best. All his initial results were with an unannounced upgrade that no one had access to. Once that came out, he pranced around to 3 different dyno technologies in search of the highest number. Now, he's running a wastegated setup with a smaller pulley and WMI, while claiming that it's only to simulate 93 octane. Sorry, but the knock resistance of WMI is far higher than 93 octane. I know this, and thus I posted that.

It's impressive for sure, but, like I said, A majority of the population on here would rather see off the shelf results (myself included). I want to know what I get for 5k that is available for purchase. I told him to just pick a dyno and do a comparison on the same day, same dyno of the 3 pulleys that are available to the public. People can get an idea of which pulley they want to run for which power level. Seems simple enough... Alas, at least Phastek will post their results in a controlled, and mature, manner.

The recent criticism of my Vortech building skills has caused me to second guess my abilities. Because of this, I'm suffering from a serious confidence condition....I've halted my building and have reverted to binge drinking myself into oblivion

I guess you are not familiar with his love/hate relationship with 2forme. Although now it's a little less love but not so much hate either.

as far as I know or have seen, there are no rules against former members quoting People band or otherwise. In fact, hachibhimself had told Gem that he can make an account and browse the forms, he can just not post.

the biggest problem with Gem is that he needed a filter in place. in fact, there have been several times that I have not posted things that he wanted me to because I felt that there was no need, or they might have been Deemed inflammatory. The only reason I posted that is because 2forme also understands gem and wouldn't really have taken any offense to it at all.

wow some people tend to try to hard to impress others and prove things just to look better. i've never talked with Gem or anything but I've constantly read his posts and builds, and one thing i noticed is that he tries to justify how his Vortech kit/build is the best and how everybody should have it.
