However, will Torque also work with a OBD2 bluetooth connector instead of the USB cable?

The Ca-Fi unit didn't work with bluetooth, only a USB adapter.

My TUN21A came with Sygic offline nav. Works great.... not sure about which specific unit you're referring to.....

On my unit the setup system has a setting that tells the unit what app you want to use for navi so assume you could point it to google maps.

I assume, like the other units, it will work with the Bluetooth OBD2 if it is rooted but with it being a different unit who knows...

When connected does your 160GB show the charging symbol @2forme?

I wonder what they've done to get USB working on Gingerbread?

That's a pity. You'd be making a LOT of people very happy if you could figure that out.

I just got it, it's completely stock. When I try to install from the play store it says I don't have enough space. It's got a gig free and copilot only takes up around 50MB before you download offline maps. Was hoping I can move it to the ext sd card I have in it (32GB).
I'd like to share how I got Co-Pilot working on the knock off in case someone else is looking for how to do this.

I took my spare Galaxy Nexus that I have and rooted it. Then I downloaded Co-Pilot from the market (as I have already payed for the app).

Once you have a rooted phone with an app you want to move over to the android radio in your car, you can install Titanium Backup on both your phone and in your car on the radio. Titanium Backup only works on rooted devices.

Then I backed up Co-pilot using Titanium Backup on my phone, I transferred the backup files from my phone to a micro SD card, put that SD card into my radio, told Titanium backup on my radio in the car to find my backup files, then finally restored Co-Pilot to the radio.

Upon loading Co-Pilot for the first time, I got a bunch of errors as it wants to connect to the market and for whatever reason, doesn't like it. But in the end, it still works fine if you close out the errors. You can now go into Co-Pilot and download your maps just fine.

Bonus: I got another full 1 year of traffic updates somehow!

Enjoy...

Anyone knows how big is the memory capacity within the Cafi knockoffs? 8Gb, 16Gb? or do all apps have to go into the external sd card

The onboard memory, however much it is, is plenty for the applications to be stored on(what its for). Get a 32gb sd card for all of your media and your're good to go.

I have an issue with carscope where it works fine but doesn't write the history so you can't look back at the last drive. I've heard torque may be the same in not writing the history to the TUN21A or T7019A.

Perhaps @Trashed675 that is a memory issue?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by writing the history. If you're referring to data logging, i have not yet ventured into that.

Yes, data logging for carscope and torque. I assume it writes the data to a history file. When I press history on carscope it says no history is available. On my galaxy tablet running the same app it stores history for every journey and you can select it see the data on graphs for the trip.

Not sure why it doesn't store it on the head unit.

Im gonna go out on a limb here and see if anyone has any idea whats wrong with my unit.

Whenever i connect to wifi via either my home wifi or my phone's mobile hotspot, i get internet connectivity on all my apps (firefox, facebook, etc) but when i go to google play, it just keeps saying "no connection" with a retry button. I need to download the license for poweramp full version, and i cant get google play working. This is strange because a week or 2 ago, i downloaded quite a few apps from there with no problems on my home wifi.

Also if anyone knows why my music in the stock music player app is always in reverse order...that would be cool to figure out also

Do this...

Press home to get to any main screen and press the menu button to get to the settings.

Click the "Applications" section, select "Manage Apps" and go to the "All" tab for a list of all apps installed on your radio.

Scroll down to the "Google Play Store" app and select it.

Click to "Clear Cache"

Click to "Clear Data"

Click "Force Stop"

Reboot your radio and everything should work again. (You might be able to just relaunch the play store without rebooting)

If that doesn't work, do the same routine for the "Google Services Framework" app.

I've had to do this a few times with this radio... But working for a mobile software company, I do this all the time with Android devices when our developers bork them. Usually fixes the problem.
