My point was that they don't stretch the tire unless dictated by the rules (to slow them down). In F1, sidewall flex is an integral part of the suspension, which without the car would literally shake itself apart.
Sorry, tire stretch to the extent that I've seen some people run is purely aesthetic and in no way will outperform a properly fitted tire. |
