Strong relationships with the many manufacturers that have featured in the franchise have led to some fascinating co-operations with the automotive world; such as the Red Bull X2010 ultimate race car, GTbyCitroën concept, a design co-operation for a display featuring on the real Nissan GT-R and an innovative new app developed for the Toyota GT86."

Since they are developing an app for the gt-86, and it's mentioned by name, you can bet money that's what's under the cloth, given the likeness. It's not exact proportions, but it's an 86.

EDIT: Upon further investigation, the curves around the front tire and the curvature of the grill don't match. I don't think it is a Corvette Stingray.

EDIT2: It might not be the GT86 because the grill is too curvy and the headlights don't match.

This is what I was thinking as well. I think they're going to unveil how that app works with the GT86, and how owners can use it.

It's a car that hasn't been released yet or gt86 with new factory options. common thing gran turismo does thats why its hidden for now till its actually released in real life. remember how they released the GTR in the game and in real life

Exactly. It's definitely a GT86 of some sort. The fenders and quarter panel lines don't match up on any of the other cars posted. The Vette's rear quarters don't match up with those lines at all. So that's out.
