No updates at this stage. My exhaust guy is looking into a suitable muffler and I am looking into suitable tip suppliers.
However it is on hold for the moment as my car is off the road currently

Question from a guy with a BRZ in the states.
You guys should have easy access to Varex mufflers from X-Force. Has anybody considered putting the 2.5" round version in place of the resonator in the middle section of the exhaust and not having any mufflers on the tail section (ala Borla). The main concern is probably whether or not the 6.5" diameter canister plus valve motor on the VMK15-250 model would fit in the drivetrain tunnel alongside the driveshaft. I would be seriously interested in a cat-back with quad tips set up that way because I think it might just be the best of both worlds, quiet when you need it and race car raspy when you want. If the tubing for the rear section matches to Borla unit exactly, you could probably also use their diffuser. :-)

Smart idea, we do have easy access thought cops give people grief for them. The remote can be a bit of a pain to activate at times too. If the borla is a 2.5" you should be able to mate them up easily, then switch the borla end tips for some generic quad tips easily.

Thanks! The question now is: Is anyone willing to build it and what would it cost to get it to the US. I'm guessing it might be quite expensive. :-(
