Painting your brake calipers red gives an extra 25 HP to the front wheels.

Sarcasm aside I would get a drop in filter (~40-70 bucks); does the same thing as an intake essentially.

HIDs for your car (ddmtuning.com sells a kit for ~35 bucks, don't need error corrector or extra harness addons)

this is a stupid question. If you get into modifying a car its gonna be a money pit anyway you look into it. If you worried about saving cash find another hobby.

AP Racing / Essex Sprint brakes use more affordable pads, so they pay for themselves over the life of the car if you're tracking it.

KW v3 colovers are affordably rebuildable and valving is customizable when rebuilding, so again, over the life of the car it's more affordable than just doing springs and shocks.

So there are two high quality parts that are cost effective for some people.
