Daily the FR-S, it is a cheap car. Plus it's still gotta be cheaper than having two cars right?

I'm at 28K miles already.

Find a 2.2L FWD impreza. Bullet proof engine and good gas mileage. I think 93-94 were FWD. Or a 1.8L FWD impreza and go get a 2.2 for a couple hundred bucks and throw it in.

Miata, because of your climate and access to so many auto-x events to keep skills sharp. Plus, top down, it's like having the best of a bike and sports car. And all of the hairdressers in the city will wave to you.

This concept puzzles me, but to each their own. I have four other vehicles, all combined cost less than my FR-S, but the FR-S is the DD.

And you would 40-60 miles a day in a very used car with the FR-S sitting in the garage seems like a waste.
It's not even that, just imagining the pain.. don't be a masochist, enjoy your car, replace the engine later if you have to, after all that's not exactly a problem with their platform

Great that you enjoy the car! Pretty sure most, if not all of those 28k miles were enjoyable.
