I went to the dealership assuming that FR-S will get a special edition for the 2013 model year, since every previous Scion models have at lease one Release Series for every model year they produce. William at Longo also told me in November that he believe there is an special edition comming for 2013 FR-S and let me put down a deposit to hold my position in the waiting list.
Seems Scion decide to call this year's release series 10 series. (Yes, I believe 10 series is the release series. Scion won't put out another release series for 2013 model year.) |

Also the Scion 10 Series FR-S is a release series for 2014 which is Scion's 10th Anniversary and will have a numbered badge #of 2500. Note Scion did have the first FR-S/86 owners for 2013.

Sweet you attached a picture with no source. Every OTHER source says it's a 2014MY. Hell the REGULAR 2014s are just around the corner!

Well... Maybe it is.
The timing just don't compute. If you're celebrating Scions 10th birthday it would be in 2014. 2003 is year zero until it's 365th day, which is then 2004.

There will be a Scion FRS RS 1.0.
The 10 series is just an anniversary for Scion. Like what Toyota does to some of the Camrys. |
