It locates a " kill switch " at the rear of the vehicle so if you get into an accident at the track(whatever kind it may be) your crew or someone can kill all electricity to the car externally so no further damage happens.

The problem with that is if you cut power to the car, you'll clear the ECU's learned values. You'll have cruddy throttle response all the time. Best to leave this for emergencies and make a hidden kill switch for your starter or fuel pump.
