Original price was $24,200. Not $24,500.
$24,500 is the current price. Not original price.

The other two prices you listed are the price with DPH.

The price went up only once BTW. From $24,200 to $24,500.
I stand corrected on the original price. But you still haven't explained why the price (before taxes) went from $24,200 (no DPH) to $24,500(dunno on DPH) to $24,955(with DPH) to $25,255(with DPH). Are you saying that the DPH is increasing?

You're also citing a news release from almost a year ago. I will gladly admit when I am wrong/mixed up, but you haven't shown me how or if I am, yet.

It would have been nice if they offered all of those exterior and interior options on the base model fr-s. Led drls, push button start, and dual climate control. Also whatever else is on the gt86 and brz limited.

Good luck with that! I wonder if they fixed the issues or will this overpriced version still have them?

I cited to the old source from almost a year ago to prove the original price of $24,200 to you (since you asked). I did not cite the new source to prove the current price of $24,500 because anyone can find that anywhere.

From the earlier posts, I did not know that you asked me for the reason why the price increased. I've never cared for the reason why cars' prices increase. Prices of just about anything goes up because of the inflation.

So, it's $2,925 more.
I'm not sure what you're saying.
I need to go back and check my tax return now.

Pure Pricing does not mean that the dealers can't mark up prices. It means that whatever price is advertised (on the internet, news paper, TV, etc) has to be the price they sell the car for. No one pays more, no one pays less.

If they want to mark the car up to $30k, they are allowed to, but they can't sell the car to someone for less (or more) than that as long as the $30k price is the advertised price.

This needs to be a sticky somewhere.

Pure Price - a Definition

Pure Price means that the dealer price you see posted - in an ad, on the dealer's website, or on a menu display board in the dealership - is the price you will pay. This includes vehicles, accessories, and even finance and insurance products.

These aren't options. They would be options if they were optional to purchase on any car. As it is, you're purchasing a special run vehicle which has no options in and of itself.

The point is that months ago you only had the choice of one specification of FR-S. Now you have two. What harm was done? Nothing was taken away. Pretend the 10 Series doesn't exist and you'll be happier.
