Thats a big markup for headlights that should have already been on the car.

So around OTD 32k+

So when brz gets factory turbo maybe close to 40k

No major change.. Pretty much can just buy the parts and slap it on 2013 models ..

If this car follows the path of the Miata regarding special editions, people will pay more for exclusivity and interesting colors. The NA Miatas that are Sunburst Yellow, British Racing Green, and the 1993 Limited editions are worth a lot more today than the 'standard' colors. The same holds true for the M-Edition cars and the special models for the NB and NC Miatas.

Although these special features (and the increase in price) are not worth it to me, they'll sure be worth it to someone. And I'm sure they'll find 2,500 someones without a problem.

We have an advantage here in Oregon with no sales tax and title/license fees about $65 per year.

I read that's why about a third of all US RV's are registered here.

And for hobbyist car flippers it's ideal since no dealer's license is required for 6 or fewer deals and proceeds are tax free.

Price is excellent IMO. Pretty much for people who want a BRZ limited stuff and like the FRS front. and silver of course..

Scion's brand is struggling because of this foolishness. Proof is in the pudding. Competition is too strong

If it comes with leather seats, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I'm not sure now. Maybe not.

Yea, but do I want it?

Absolutely Not:
Silver seat belts
illuminated exterior locator badge
interior panel and shift knob (A/T only)
new BeSpoke head unit that includes GPS
Only if free (Base FR-S Price) and still don't really care:
numbered interior badge,
10 Series cargo mat,
Smart Key with Push Button Start,
HIDs,
LED DRL's,
dual zone auto climate control,
frameless rear view mirror
Nope, absolutely nothing here I would pay extra for. That's one reason why I bought an FR-S instead of a BRZ in the first place.

I like it. Not sure I'd be willing to pay 27k for it though. At this point I'm leaning towards getting one used and saving a few grand, and then putting those bits I want into it.

Since you got yours there were two price "adjustments" so to replace your car today would cost $25,255.

Did your price include DPH? What I don't get is whether it was additional from the start or not. Looking at the first press release, it clearly states that MSRP of $24,200 (6M/T) does not include DPH, but others here say it was included at the start. Which is it?
