if i didn't have my fr-s already i'd consider buying it. i don't really like the color though, as amazing as it is, i'm not a fan of silver. if it was some pearlescent blue, i'd be all over it.

I like how @torqdork you keep justifying your purchase, go ask any owner of a RS TC and see how much over a regular TC they can get.. Some hundreds, others maybe a thousand or so.. Your acting like in 15 years this is going to go for several thousand of paver other models and odds are it won't.. I personally wouldn't buy this car even if it was the same price.. I don't get caught up on the "we can't get it here so I want it" Down syndrome headlights, or silver paint for that matter.. The glowing badges and shift knob could be found off eBay, and the only options I'd like are the keyless, and HVAC controls.. But again.. If given this as the only color I wouldn't hp get it, even for a discount over my asphalt, but that's what makes the car community so great.. This car appeals to you, 80% of others it doesn't.. But to sit here and justify why your getting it, well you don't have to man.. It's cool.. Enjoy your car when it comes out and post lots of pictures

It's too bad they're resorting to this instead of offering HVAC/HID/Wireless key as an option on 2014's. Scion is a lost brand.

It should've been yellow... make all the rest that boring silver, but the FR-S should have been yellow.

For an owner like me who goes through quite a few cars every year, it fills the disposal cost variable nicely and as I said, will undoubtedly resell quickly for more than any BRZ. Note that I already said the initial cost of a BRZ is a better deal financially. It certainly isn't the car for you and that's fine, but to associate it with Down Syndrome is beyond strange. So, no justification needed. I'm excited, no doubt, but if I believed posts like yours I might as well drive a Yaris.

I'm surprised that people are surprised with the price jump. It's just like any RS Scion. The recent release series tC was priced nearly as much as the FRS compared to the regular tC.
This forum brings out more and more everyday. |

Honestly the reason for choosing this for me is the color...im absolutley in love. Factor in that it already comes with those gorgeous...down syndrome... headlights which I already planned on buying anyways. Exclusivity is another big plus for me...I dont give a crap nobody else notices... i do and thats all i care about. There will be only nine in my area, and im hoping to be the only one with a 5axis aerokit. Besides... No BRZ are being sold in PR and I dont think theyll arrive here. I believe Subaru decided against it: Prices in PR are ridiculous, Ill be paying 33k for mine, BRZ would be like 1k higher due to STUPID ASS taxes that consider Subaru more upscale hence you get to pay more tax. They would just loose against a much cheaper scion frs |

You may be right, I didn't watch the whole reveal--And they very well might make this the only run of this color.
