Not really surprising at all, I called 2-3k more, I was just hoping it would be closer to 2k more and not 3k more...oh well, people will buy them so long as the dealers don't try to gouge with bs markups like they always do....

Yeah, the BRZ Limited looks like the better deal on paper, but of the three variables that determine overall ownership cost (acquisition, maintenance and disposal), resale will tell the tale. I have to admit the leather heated seats sound pretty sweet in my climate, but mine will be in storage during the cold, wet half of the year anyway. |

Well at least you now have a gauge of how much a supercharged model will be.
Pushing 32-33k to start.

I paid 24900 out the door last year, i could not fathom paying over 30k for this car, and this will not be some rare omg 50k dollar barret jackson car someday, like most people here assume....
my First 86 FR-S with 100k on it and dents and dings all over will be worth more than a " series 10" with 20k miles.....guaranteed ( not that i care what my car is worth when i am done with it but this series 10 is not that special and a big dissapointment compared to what euro markets already get, its almost an insult to true enthusiasts)

It's just the realities of the marketplace. Someone, somewhere will always find a limited edition (in this case, less than 1,000 total M/T's) more valuable than standard editions. I'd like an EU spec car as much as anyone, but you said you can't fathom paying over $30K yet would have to pony up well over $40K for a EU TRD spec car. As a "true entusiast", I feel very fortunate that we got the car at all, let alone at the best prices available anywhere in the world. |

So $3K-$5K, far more than the entire 10 Series car?
