I think it's reasonably priced, I'd buy it if I didn't already have a FR-S. As for the BRZ comment, I prefer the front the FR-S just a little bit more. To be fair though WRB is the best color, ever.

It's +$2,170 for the M/T that includes:

Silver seat belts, illuminated exterior locator badge, interior panel and shift knob (A/T only), numbered interior badge, 10 Series cargo mat, Smart Key with Push Button Start, HIDs, LED DRL's, dual zone auto climate control, frameless rear view mirror and possibly a new BeSpoke head unit that includes GPS that will retail for $1,198 in other Scions but couldn't get confirmation on that yet.

Worth it? Come resale time, I believe a 10 Series will command a premium exceeding any BRZ discount. For example, my FJ Cruiser TRD Special Edition (3,200 produced) typically pulls thousands more than any other model FJ of the same year on eBay.

In another thread, I estimated a $2,000-$2,500 bump so will gladly pay the premium.

Still no firm ETA or VIN, estimate is sometime in June.

Worth the charge to me, I'll be glad when I make the swap.
It's almost a euro/ JDM spec 86 with paint that I still can't describe.

Great to hear, and if 10 Series is like other special editions, the color won't ever be used on FR-S again after this run of 2,500 Ignition Silvers.

Remember Toyota makes it close to impossible for you to get limited edition parts for a non limited edition car. Take the FJ cruiser for example; everyone wanted the limited edition's rims. Did they get them? They tried and most failed. You have to have some kind of proof with vin and prove the car is yours before they will sell to you

Exactly. I had to do all of the above and then the dealership Parts Manager had to get approval from TMS Torrance and give a reason why I needed a spare set.

$2000 just not worth it to me (personally). I got a fr-s because its the bare minimum stripped down car, not for extras - or I would've gone brz premium. Better name, resale value, features, etc.

But just get what your happy, dude. I'm just speaking - personally HIDs, LED DRL's and push button start isn't worth it. All the other is all just bling that just seems tacky IMO, and the last unnamed head unit in the fr-s just gave me a sour taste in my mouth I wouldn't put my money on the new one (not to mention they advertised the old bespoke WITH NAV!).

Anyway, its all down to what you want. It will definitely hold its value better, and its a "limited" series so you get all that. Who gets to say - I owned the first year "limited edition" - of any car? That's pretty rare

I'll just pay $50 for LEDs and install them, use my phone for nav, and pocket the rest for mods

Ouch, so $2200 destination charge?

That's pretty steep! I thought it was $24,500 - or, ~$25,000 with destination!
