I finally got mine last night! It's a blast! I'm about a total novice with a manual transmission, but this thing is pretty easy, I'd say, so I'm happy about that too. Can't wait to drive some more!

Admittedly, Im not a very big car guy, or performance oriented driver. None of my friends really are either, and tuning cars and that whole scene was just never interested me much in my teenage days/early twenties. But I love driving now, and I can appreciate a finely engineered work of art such as this. I was pretty encouraged by some of the reviewers referring to this as somewhat of a "blank canvas" because Im pretty excited to sink a few hard earned dollars into this car to make it completely my own.

Well now here I am at 27 years old, finished school and working in a career, and still driving the 06 corolla (hahahahah). I could have afforded financing for a few years now, but chose to pay off student loans first. Still, I feel slightly bad that I went all out on the car, ie TRD exhaust and Intake, stereo upgrades, rear spoiler, but I have my reasons!

The large majority of my friends are in a serious relationship with someone and/or have kids, and quite simply could not buy/would not be allowed to buy something this cool and, well, selfish for lack of a better word. Why should I burn away the last 3 years of my twenties driving something conservative, only to get married in a few years and drive something even more conservative? I can afford this car while still living comfortably and banking money for a down payment on a house, so despite what some naysayers in my life are saying, I cant see any reason not to have purchased this car.

You only live once right, and I personally cant see a more prime time in my life than now to start driving a nice little sports car. Cheers everyone, glad to be part of the FRS club (soon!!!!).
Nice job. You worked hard and earned it. I am 27. I kinda did it backwards. Got my FR-S a year ago. Now I hope in 30 days I will have my very first house! Living the dream in SoCal, with an FR-S and my own place!

Much love brother, we trashed those dirty habs. How did a Sudbury boy end up all the way out in Seattle? And no way will a lady friend sway me away from the 2nd most cherished thing in my life (Alfie the dog taking up my number one slot ).

Sorry guys not many good pics yet, had to go pick the car up in Barrie (which is three hours away from me) and just getting home now. I have a swarm of buddies heading this way, and really just want to relax a few minutes lol.

Will take take some very nice pics tomorrow :happy0180:
I will say this, because I just had a three hour cruise and can now speak from experience, THIS CAR FUCKING ROCKS, and its already turned a pile of heads in town.

It sure is a shame that none of them retained their balls. Make sure if/when you get married that you don't get castrated as well.
