Lol agreed, but will that still fit in a 1k budget.. Rims can be had for around 150 each, they make 100$ 18" tires.. Hell even if they did, idk if I'd run them.. But then working at discount tire I seen 40k+ on tires that cost 25$ on old ford escorts lol.. Would perform like shit, hell maybe even the stock tire would out perform them ..

lol dude when I lived in Japan we used to order Indo and Taiwanese tires all the time for drift events... Never paid more then 80 USD for 17s or 18s. It was pretty much hit or miss... ran some that bubbled like crazy due to the excessive heat, some chunked like crazy, and some were awesome and turned almost hard plastic like. LOL

I would say save up til u get to $1600. You can get Rotas and a decent rubber on them for 1600.

Just be patient, set that $1,000 aside and save up some more. You'll end up with A LOT better looking, performing wheels and better tires.
The OP could plastidip if just wanted a different look, but yeah $1000 for new is just to low, or else you'll get some really bad quality wheels and tires.

used Rotas are your best bet... spend your money on tires, they are many drivers biggest performance upgrade.

$1000 wheels and tires will be a DOWNGRADE, not an upgrade.

Even if you can find a package for that money, they will either be some horribly HEAVY wheels, or weak ones that cracks/bents easily, and the tires will be very unsafe.

For example, these:

http://www.tirereview.com/Article/65...ty_levels.aspx

Question is, why did you get a brand new $26k car and DOWNGRADE from the factory equipment, just to be "different" and tell the world that "oh my car is modded?"

If you can't afford it, dont do it yet until you can, that will be my advice.
