I had my pipes come off all the time. Although this was when I was boosting 30psi. Tried all different kinds of couplers and clamps. The thing that worked for me was a little hairspray.

If you have proper swages on pipes then a normal hose/jubiliee clip is fine, even at 2 bar+!

All these crazy T-clamps or whatever are way overkill.

In my experience, T-bolt clamps are worth it. The worm-drive clamps are trash.

Ya car is still a little rich.

Since he had Intercool pipe problems I want him to make sure everything is 100% tight before we start making changes

Its no problem bro..anything to help out a fellow 86'er...even tho the drive was an hour and 40 mins each way, im always happy to drive my frs as long as i can especially when theres no traffic. Finally got a chance to sit in a turbo, i wish i could turbo my car but i might be parting ways with her soon ...we gotta race before i give her up

Yes, it's used for many press on rubber-ish things.. like bike grips, couplers, etc. It provides lubrication while wet and dries with some tac to it for extra adhesion.

Yup. Spray a little over the pipe where you are going to put the coupler. When the hairspray dries, it will leave a tacky residue.
