I do software quality assurance. Those were all pre-production devices and I don't have any spare final production devices. But black looks generic and Glacial Silver hides fingerprints better haha... it's the way to go man!

I hear quality issue about them.. Last time I got the one last year model the back casing was not snapped to the frame and I can see a tab.. Also had light leaking on the side of the screen where its black.. As much as HTC looks nice I stay away from them until quality has been fixed.. Great phones but it got me staying away from them.. UI is much better now compare to that crappy cover flow muiltasking that I hated..

HTC has learned from this past year and is listening to its customers. It's tightened up on quality, customer support, and will roll out OS updates sooner.

Then again, anything that is mass manufactured is bound to have flaws. Just look at our cars.

It's the 600 which I've heard has had enough development time to mature/be optimized for increased battery life. Generally, the latest/craziest CPU can become a power consumption issue.
