You're right in this aspect. The thing is, doing something doesn't always mean that you come to blows and have some violent intentions. It's making sure that the person takes responsibility for what they did. Everyone thinks that doing something will mean that you'll strangle or beat the little crap out of someone for touching your property, but something as simple as notifying their household parents, making sure that they are accountable, and the shit you do will have consequences will eventually change their point of view.

My whole entire point here is that we need to respect property, and my posting to op (to answer questions) is because I empathize with him.

Yeah, I know this wasn't out very west, but I was more referring to where I live when he asked about Omaha. I have you beat for going out west 217th and Center. But yeah, it's almost worse that they didn't take anything.

Sorry about the window OP! I'm with everyone else, people like this suck!

Bought my whiteout on 4/13...on 4/15 a guy at work backed into me and his Ins. is trying to say it's 50/50 so I'll be looking at having to claim on my own INS and pay the deductible, which I don't have right now. No witness, no camera footage. So that's going to be a fun battle.

THEN, a day later someone else at work slams their door into my passenger side while I'm not around and is gone when I get off work so yeah, small dent + black paint. GRRRR!!

Last but not least, came out of the store with some food last weekend and found my car making out with a shopping cart. PEOPLE NEED TO PUT THEM AWAY.

I hope this is not signs of things to come with this car!

Seeing as nothing was taken it could have just been a case of vandalism. I think maybe frs/br-z owners should start driving around with disclaimer in the window that says "this car isn't as expensive as your think, really!" to help dissipate the hate and jealousy.

Got the car back last night. Like I expected from this thin Subaru paint, there are some chips from the glass. It also cut up the rubber weather guard on the bottom of the window. Touch up paint is on the way, then it will get polished and buffed. I may see if a buddy of mine who has is own detail shop has any recommendations on what would be best to do about it. You can't see the chips from 2 feet away, but looking really close, you can. I'm so pissed that my brand new car had this shit happen.
