Not sure if serious.. Some places are shady but it's usually pretty nice around here. The people that live in North Omaha think they are from Compton, though.

Haha I am serious. Some of my family lives in Fremont, NE and have said Omaha can be pretty bad in some parts. I just wasn't sure where in Omaha you lived. I have heard similar descriptions as well, with regard to your Compton comment.

Word to that. Oakland is pretty bad too, which may be comparable to Omaha. I was even talking to a San Jose Police Officer this weekend and he said if current trends in San Jose continue in this downward slope San Jose could potentially be Oakland-like.
